August 2010 MEETING HIGHLIGHTS

Meeting called to order by President Germaine there were 28 people in attendance.

Ron had the filter changed in the Ice machine.
-
Minutes from July’s membership meeting and the officers’ meeting on August 10th were read to the membership.

The deck got stained thanks to Ron, Bill Diegle and Jim Gidcumb and also Shorty.
-
Members were told that we had to buy a new printer for the office.
-
Members voted to table the voting on the by-laws revisions until the September meeting.
-
Pig roast is August 21st. Randy will start the roasting at 10pm Friday night. Feel free to stop by and keep him company. Just DON”T lift the lid to look at the pig!

September 18th we will have a BBQ chicken dinner.
-
We will no longer freeze the burger we buy. It will be fresh for our members.

We had 5 new members voted in this month. Welcome new members!

Fergy and his daughter cooked the steaks for us after the float trip. Thanks Fergy!!

Shorty did the 50/50 and the BIG winner was Fergy. Congratulations Fergy!
